In our Media Entrepreneurship Program you will develop new media products, that fit perfectly into our market and our lifes. Within two month you will come up with a profoundly tested idea and a couple of co-founders whith whom you can apply to our Media Startup Fellowship.

Transition to Media Startup Fellowship
After the Media Entrepreneurship Program, you can take part in the final bootcamp with your team and your idea in order to get accepted into the Media Startup Fellowship.
You already have a team and a well tested idea, you know the market is waiting for your product? In our Media Startup Fellowship we offer mentoring, business coaching, workshops and budget to turn your startup-idea into a minimum viable product.
Use agile and iterative processes to optimize your product until it shows its real potential as a media startup.
Use Lean Startup methods, to test your product and find out what users really want.
Find an attractive business model and develop market fit.
Develop a roadmap and strategy to rapid growth.
Some fellowships will be offered with partners. You apply regularly to our fellowship and if your idea fits into the vision of our respective partner you can get our partner fellowship which means additional support for you and your team.
Make advertising better!
Digital change has also hit the field of ad marketing: advertising is changing. And as a media house, which also lives by advertising sales, we want to know: „Changing how?“ What are the approaches to make advertisements more attractive to customers, agencies and advertisers? How is it possible to communicate messages closer to the customer’s interests? Where are the new concepts that make advertising better so as not to be perceived as annoying advertising?
We are therefore looking for a start-up, which in its business model has committed itself to the slogan „Improve advertising“.
As a media house, we feel committed to the interests of our readers, but we also want to help our advertisers achieve their goals. In the search for a balance which is profitable for all sides, we are open for your ideas!

To apply the criteria for the Media Startup Fellowship must be fulfilled: Functional team with user-centered idea, which is already validated on the market and can be developed into the MVP in the six months. Applications are submitted using the general application form.

We invite the best teams to join our LeanStartup bootcamp in December, where you will work on your projects for three days and after the final pitch we will make a decision, who gets accepted into our fellowship.

Der Kontext is a digital contextual magazine, which gives users the opportunity to dive into a map of information.
Soundticker – Personalized music combined with personalized news. Soudtickers places an individualized choice of news into any music stream.
SnapTrack – SnapTrack is a management suite for Snapchat, you can create Snapchat Stories with as many accounts as needed. It also delivers Snapchat analytics which allows users to optimize their stories according to KPIs.
Bohème encourages a culture of digital reading for premium e-newspapers and e-magazines. The app enables users to access the publications for free as long as they are in a certain location, such as coffee-places, restaurants or trains.
Jornu – Subscribe to journalists not newspapers. Follow independent writers who publish premium articles and create your own newsdesk according to your interests.
